"Broken Frames Syndicate" is a ten-member soloist ensemble from Frankfurt, dedicated to interpreting contemporary music and evolving modern concert culture.
In 2024, the ensemble was awarded the Ensemble Prize of the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation for its innovative project ideas and distinctive presence within the contemporary music scene.
Broken Frames Syndicate was founded in 2018 after a year together at the International Ensemble Modern Academy (IEMA). This intense period fostered exceptional ensemble cohesion and deeply insightful interpretations of ensemble music. Their performances combine a love for extremes with sparkling joy in playing.
Building on these strong foundations, Broken Frames Syndicate challenges traditional concert formats and ventures into new artistic territories.
