In Manifeste festival, the Cursus concert on the big screen

Live electronics and tape converge in Transduced for 3 snare drums, transducers and electronics by Lithuanian Justina Repečkaitė (1989) who tracks the sound of her instruments, from the vibrating outer membrane to the resonance in the center of the drum body using contact microphones and transducers. With gestures of percussionist Yannick Monnot, a multidimensional space is gradually being developed, engaging a true sound dramaturgy.

From Ircam’s Youtube channel you can listen to Transduced preceded by the presentation of the piece by Justina Repeckaite itself.
